# Chapter 1: Accept the Invitation and Register

The memorial space is opened for you by Chin Pao San's **Account Manager**. Once it is opened, the system sends an invitation email to your inbox. The whole getting-started process begins with this email.

### 1-1 Click the Link in the Invitation Email

Find the invitation email in your inbox and click the link inside. The link takes you to a dedicated landing page and **automatically maps you to the correct organization (tenant)** — you do not need to choose an organization yourself.

> 💡 **A small note**
> In the current version, text such as "please select the organization you belong to" may still appear on this screen. Because you arrived through the invitation link, your organization is in fact already fixed. You can skip past that text and go straight on to register or log in.

### 1-2 Register or Log In

- If you **do not yet have an account**: the screen guides you through filling in your registration details (name, email, password).
- If you **already have an account**: simply log in with your email and password.

### 1-3 Enter the 6-Digit Verification Code (OTP)

To confirm that the email address is really yours, the system sends a verification email to your inbox containing a **6-digit verification code**. Please return to the platform and enter it.

- The verification code is **valid for 5 minutes**; if it expires or does not arrive, you can request a new one after about 60 seconds.
- The email subject is "Registration Verification Code," and it usually arrives within a few to a dozen seconds.

### 1-4 Enter the Memorial Space

Once verification passes, the system takes you straight to the home page of the memorial space — there is no separate "accept invitation" step.

If the Account Manager had not yet named the space when opening it (an "unnamed" memorial space), the system will **temporarily name the space using the name you entered when registering**; you can adjust it later at any time in the content.

> 💡 **A small note — how to log in from now on**
> After entering for the first time, you can go straight to https://your-tenant.curate.memorial in future and log in with your email and password. The login page will pre-check "keep me logged in for 30 days," which is convenient on your own device; on a shared computer we suggest unchecking it.
